Why pupils should learn about backstrap loom weaving in Mexico and how it can be connected with getting to know about textile traditions and tourism in class is demonstrated in this article. It is based on one of my teaching concepts that I successfully worked with in order to practice change of the own point of view, the goal being to achieve more intercultural competence by getting used to do this.
